Timothy W. Fox O.D. |
In 1998 Tim Fox saw Bethlehem's SouthSide as a developing area with an energized, artistic population hungry for contemporary eyewear. With a keen sense of fashion, and the desire to provide the best eye care possible, the idea for Fox Optical was born. He envisioned a practice where his patients would not be numbers, but valued individuals whose needs would be met with patience and expertise.
Looking for the flexibility that comes from owning one's own business, and inspired by friends dedicated to the arts, he renovated the first floor of 28 East 3rd Street, where he continues to provide quality eye care, offer trend-setting eyewear, and support the local arts.
Dr. Fox has served as a member of the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission (BFAC) since 2004, and he joined the board of Visual Impairment and Blindness Services (VIABL) in 2007. Tim views his participation in these organizations as a way of giving back to the community in which he works and lives.
